Erika Mann (1905-1969) war eine deutsche Schriftstellerin, Lektorin, Schauspielerin und Kabarettistin. Sie ist die Tochter des berühmten Schriftstellers Thomas Mann, dessen Nachlass sie verwaltete. 1927/1928 reiste sie mit ihrem Bruder Klaus als „The Literary Mann Twins" durch die USA, wohin sie 1937 emigrierte. 1933 gründete sie das politische Kabarett „Die Pfeffermühle" und sprach sich scharf gegen den Nationalsozialismus aus.
