Franziska Theresia Reichsgräfin von Hohenheim wurde durch ihre Ehe zu Herzog Karl Eugen von Württemberg zur Herzogin von Württemberg. Dort genießt die fromme und karitative Frau einen hervorragenden Ruf. Schon zu ihren Lebzeiten wurde sie als "Guter Engel Württembergs" bezeichnet. Sie war in der Lage ihren unberechenbaren und prunksüchtigen Ehemann zu einem fürsorglichen Landesvater umzuerziehen.
Utta Keppler (1905-2004) wurde als Tochter eines Pfarrers in Stuttgart geboren und wuchs dort auf. Sie besuchte die Stuttgarter Kunstakademie bis Sie die Meisterreife erreichte. 1929 heiratete sie und hat vier Söhne. Sie arbeitete frei bei Zeitungen und Zeitschriften und schrieb mehrere biographische Romane, meist über weibliche historische Persönlichkeiten, für welche sie ein intensives Quellenstudium betrieb.
